IFM METHOD

Editorial Policy

IFM – Italian Financial Markets covers companies listed on Italian markets, with particular attention to issuers with a market capitalization below €1 billion. The goal is to turn corporate announcements and regulated documents into readable, verifiable news with context.

Source hierarchy

  1. Original issuer announcements and Investor Relations pages.
  2. eMarket SDIR/Storage, 1INFO, Borsa Italiana and Live Euronext.
  3. Regulated documents, financial statements, reports and market notices.
  4. Teleborsa and other news outlets only when they reproduce or link to an official announcement.

Automated process

An AI-assisted system monitors sources, checks the listing venue, deduplicates copies and translations, extracts material facts and drafts an original summary. English-language versions are generated from the same verified source set. Where available, articles include current or latest-session market data with date, time and a direct Live Euronext source link.

Editorial rules

  • No number or timestamp is invented; unverifiable data is omitted or qualified.
  • Old information is not presented as current.
  • Copies, wires and translations of the same announcement are deduplicated.
  • Articles distinguish official facts, context and inference.
  • No investment advice, target prices or trading recommendations are published.
  • Editorial prominence does not change the verification standards applied to any issuer.

Corrections

Reports are checked against primary sources. Material corrections are made promptly and, where appropriate, disclosed in the article. See also the AI Disclaimer.
