Legal bases

Legal bases may include performance of the requested service, legitimate interests in security and technical operation, compliance with legal obligations and, where required, consent for personalized advertising and other non-essential processing.

WordPress.com and WordAds

The site is hosted on WordPress.com, an Automattic service, and uses WordAds. Automattic and advertising partners may process data under their respective roles, notices and safeguards. For EU/UK visitors, WordAds uses a Consent Management Provider (CMP) that allows users to express and manage preferences; without the required consent, ads may be non-personalized.

Recipients and international transfers

Data may be processed by Automattic and its providers outside the European Economic Area under applicable safeguards. The advertising partners involved and their purposes are displayed through the CMP where applicable.

Retention

Data is retained for as long as necessary for the stated purposes and legal obligations. Contact messages are generally retained for the time needed to handle the request; logs, cookies and identifiers follow provider retention periods and user choices.
