BPER Banca has completed the sale of six bank branches in the provinces of Varese and Como to BCC Iccrea Group, as part of the commitments connected with the Banca Popolare di Sondrio transaction.
Definitive agreements were signed for the transfer of four branches to BCC Busto Garolfo e Buguggiate and two branches to BCC Cantù.
The transaction was carried out in accordance with the authorisation issued by the Italian Competition Authority in connection with the acquisition and subsequent merger of Banca Popolare di Sondrio into BPER Banca.
The transfer will become legally effective on 21 September 2026.
