FNM and the European Investment Bank have signed an €80 million financing agreement to support the group’s investments in hydrogen mobility and rail and road transport in Lombardy.

Transaction structure
The operation is supported by InvestEU and SACE’s Archimede Guarantee. Repayment will follow an amortising schedule after the grace period, while FNM will have 36 months to draw the funds.
The financing supports a sustainable mobility investment programme, with a focus on hydrogen in rail and road transport. It also forms part of the EIB’s TechEU initiative for strategic European technologies and infrastructure.
